Terms & conditions
The ground rules for using this website and for work we do on your vehicles.
Frecklington Truck Repairs Pty Ltd (ABN 14 692 145 298) operates this website and provides heavy vehicle repair, breakdown and servicing work from Orange NSW. By using this website, asking for a quote or booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and estimates
Quotes are based on the information you give us and what we can see at the time, and are valid for the period stated on the quote. If we find further faults once work is under way, we will contact you before doing extra work that would add to the quoted amount.
Bookings and breakdown call-outs
Our breakdown line runs around the clock. Call-outs are charged at the rates we advise when you call, including travel where the job is away from the workshop. We prioritise safety-critical jobs and will always give you our best estimate of when we can get to you, but we cannot guarantee response times.
- Give us the truck's location, the fault as best you know it and a contact number
- Tell us about any dangerous goods, load issues or hazards on site
- If a call-out is cancelled after we have left the workshop, travel already done may be charged
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished and the vehicle is collected, unless you have an account with agreed terms. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Where an invoice is unpaid we may keep the vehicle until it is settled, as the law allows, and overdue accounts may be referred for collection with reasonable costs added.
Parts and workmanship
Our workmanship is covered by the warranty period shown on your invoice. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty. Replaced parts are disposed of unless you ask for them when you book the work.
- Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, overloading, accident damage or neglect
- It does not cover work later carried out by someone else on the same component
- Warranty claims must come back to us so we can inspect the vehicle
Your vehicle and your responsibilities
You confirm you own the vehicle or have the owner's authority to have work done. Please give us accurate information about the vehicle, its history and any known faults, and remove valuables before leaving it with us. We take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession but are not responsible for personal items left in them.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income while a vehicle is off the road.
